Curse of the Ograberry

Welcome to Curse of the Ograberry – a short series of encounters for four to five characters with an Average Character Level of 3. 

Jessa, the Voodoo Witch of the Oakbrook Forest, specializes in alchemical potions, powders, and salves. Her products carry a certain kick supplied by a special fruit, the Orgaberry. The Orgaberry Tree is fragile and requires constant care to successfully grow and harvest the fruit.

Nigel, a local farmer from a nearby village has acquired a taste for Orgaberry. The magical essence of the fruit enhances the pallet and boosts the bodies performance. While taking a shortcut through the Oakbrook forest, Nigel stumbled into Jessa’s orchard and helped himself to several of the fruit. A few days later he returned, taking a few more, then again, and again, and again. This is where the story takes a turn.

Jessa catches Nigel in the orchard and curses him. Every time he steps into her orchard, he transforms into a fearsome and rare Were-Unicorn. He terrorizes the nearby lands until time passes and he distances himself from the orchard at which time Nigel reverts to his human form, his memory is foggy.

When the characters find Nigel, dazed and confused along the road, he begs them to help him retrace his step, in hopes of recovering his foggy memories.
